Speaker: Rev Mark Gallup

Mark Gallup is an Interfaith Minister ordained by the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine in 2013 and a Pagan high priest in the Reclaiming tradition. He is no stranger to UU churches, for he did his chaplaincy internship at Allen Avenue UU Church in Portland, has preached at UU churches in Maine and Louisiana. His current UU congregation is First Parish in Kennebunk.

A retired geologist and environmental engineer, Mark has always had a deep love and concern for Mother Earth and her cycles and seasons. As a program elder and board president for White Pine Programs in York, Mark works to mentor children of all ages in “Ways of the Wild” in which children receive a day’s release from school each week to go into and observe Nature as well as to learn Nature skills.

Invitation to the Church of Nature

Nature has been my church for a long long time, and I want to present my experience of this church from my childhood to the present. I also have a suggestion I will present to people, a practice to better experience Nature as church.
