Worship Service Cancellation Procedure

In the event of a severe storm, power outage, flooding, or major facility problem, the Fellowship may need to cancel its Sunday morning worship service. Attempting to do so in a manner that is timely and creates a minimum of inconvenience, the Fellowship will follow the plan outlined below.

No later than by 8:00am on Sunday morning, the Fellowship President (or their delegated representative), in consultation with others, will make the decision regarding service cancellations. Cancellation notices will be posted by our Webmaster and/or Secretary on our Facebook page and website. We will also notify Members and Friends by email “blast”. Additionally, phone calls and/or text messages will be sent by the President to notify staff, including our accompanist, minister, and Worship Associates/Congregational Life team for that Sunday (if not already consulted). Please keep in mind that increasingly common power outages during stormy conditions may make for difficult, if not impossible, communications.
