Emily Bruce is a native of New Orleans, LA and spent her childhood in the Episcopal Church. After a first career working in the theatre industry in New York, it became impossible to ignore that still small voice in her heart that was calling her to something more. A brief stint in Providence RI led her to the UU church and her eventual calling to congregational ministry.
Emily received her Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School in 2019 and began serving First Parish Church in Kingston MA in 2021 as a contract minister. In 2023 she was called and installed as the 25th settled minister of that congregation, and is eager to begin her fifth year of ministry there this September.
