The origins of Thanksgiving trace back to a 1621 harvest feast shared by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people, a feast of thanks for their mutual support and a successful harvest. Today, it’s a secular celebration that focuses on reflecting this year’s good fortune. During the service we will be focusing on our gratitude for all the Midcoast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship has given us. The answer is within each one of us. Why do we keep coming back Sunday after Sunday? What need does the Fellowship fulfill in each one of us?
We will also be welcoming three new members to our Fellowship.
