The Fellowship’s worship team commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City’s Greenwich Village, an event that ignited the modern LGBTQ rights movement. The riots, a defiant resistance to systemic police harassment and brutality, propelled the struggle for human rights by gay, lesbian, transgender, and queer people onto the radar screens of mainstream American culture.
