Speaker: Rev. Lane Fisher
Rev. Lane Fisher is a ministerial candidate from Belfast. She will stretch our views with several individuals’ perspectives on disability and ableism and will suggest some first-principle-worthy considerations for our congregational life. She received her M. Div. from Starr King School for the Ministry in May and is preparing to meet with the UUA’s Ministerial Fellowship Committee. A “late bloomer” who has enjoyed decades-long careers as a writer and editor and as a professional dog trainer, Lane says that dogs taught her to be patient and loving with human beings.
Our culture worships youth and fears aging. How does this affect us as individuals and as a culture?
