We are not all mothers, but all of us were born to one. Would you like to share a brief reflection about mothers and motherhood during our service on May 8? It doesn’t have to be a “rainbows & unicorns” tale (though we welcome those, too!); we recognize that not all things having to do with motherhood are happy and sweet. You might be Childless by Choice, or you might have experienced a difficult relationship with your own mother, or your own child. Your mom might have been your older brother. You might have been the older brother-mom to your siblings.
