An Illustrated Guide to Toppling the Patriarchy: Rethinking Unitarian Universalist History

When Rev. Anne told me that the theme for the month was “Heritage,” I immediately thought of the ways in which I struggle with teaching UU history these days. With a Christian, Biblical, Protestant, Enlightenment based faith founded by white men and grounded in reason, it immediately becomes apparent that we are talking about a religion that might need some new reflections. Do we have to obliterate the past, or can we expand our ways of thinking?
